AI Summary 
The Utility section allows you to view the history of licenses purchased for using IdSurvey.
Note:
- this section is accessible only to administrators or users with permission to access Utility.
Accessing the Section #
On the homepage of the administration interface, a summary panel shows the number of main licenses.
Licenses can be highlighted in yellow or red if they are close to expiration or running low.
Clicking the panel opens the Utility section to view detailed information.
Section Structure #
Within the Utility section, licenses are displayed in separate tiles, one for each module:
ADMIN: access to the administration interface
STORAGE: disk space for media and CAPI audio recordings
TOKENS LIMIT: set the daily activation limit for CATI tokens
CATI: telephone module
CAPI: offline face-to-face module
CAWI: online web module
EMAIL: sending emails via EmailSender
SMS: sending SMS via SMSSender
ANALYSIS PLUS: access to Crosstabs, AI insights, report sharing, and export
SUPERVISOR DASHBOARD: real-time dashboard for supervising CATI operators
License Details #
Each panel displays:
- total available licenses in blue
- list of purchased licenses, ordered from oldest to newest
- for each license:
- quantity purchased
- quantity available
- expiration date (if applicable)
Note:
- if a license is highlighted in red, it is close to expiration or running low.
If other license packages are available, data collection continues without interruption. Otherwise, new licenses must be purchased to avoid service interruption.
For some licenses, the available quantity may show as a negative value. This occurs when multiple licenses are used simultaneously, temporarily bringing the balance below zero.
In these cases, the balance is automatically realigned when a new package is purchased.
Available Options #
At the top left of the Utility section, the Options button (gear icon) provides:
- Set Time Zone: configure the platform’s time zone
- Download Usage History: export an Excel file with details of CAWI, CAPI, Email licenses, and CATI tokens used
- Manage Caller ID: configure the caller ID (available only with certain SIP trunk providers)
Purchasing Licenses #
Next to the Options button is the Purchase Licenses Online button, which opens the IdSurvey online store. When buying in the online store you can use:
- PayPal or card payment: licenses are activated automatically within approximately 5 minutes.
- Bank transfer payment: licenses are activated after payment is received and confirmed.
