Assign specific contacts to one interviewer

With IdSurvey you can assign specific contacts to specific interviewers using the “Set interviewers f ilters” function in the “Interviewers” page.

Step 1 #

Go to the “Interviewers” section, select and open the interviewer profile that you want to set filters for.

On the top left of the screen, click on “Set Interviewers Filters”. This will open the “Surveys with filters” window. This section will display all the surveys where you have set filters for this interviewer.

Step 2 #

To set a new filter click on “Add filter” and select the survey where you want to set it from the list.

Step 3 #

You will have to build the filter based on the contact fields (either standard fields, custom fields or any combination of the two) to decide which contacts will be displayed to this interviewer.

Notes

If you set your filters only for some interviewers in the survey, contacts matching the condition will still be available to interviewers without the filter set. If you want to assign certain contacts exclusively to one agent, you must set the opposite filter to the other agents. For example, if interviewer Sarah is set to work only on contacts for which “Zone equals to North” and interviewer Mark has been set with filter “Zone equals to Center,” for all the other interviewers you’ll have to set the filter “Zone other than North AND Zone other than Center” (or “Zone equals to South” if the Zone field contains only one other variant, “South”).
An empty field is considered different from any other value, including the empty value itself. Therefore, you cannot match a contact with an empty field by simply leaving the field value blank in the filter nor by setting it as “not equal from” any value. If you want to include an empty value on a specific field in your filter, you’ll have to explicitly add the condition “is null” (or “is not null” if you want to specifically exclude contacts where the field is empty) on top of any other condition you may have.
When there are no more contacts that match the filter, the interviewer will not be able to work on the survey anymore. If you need to delete the filter, just go back to the “Surveys with filters” box and click on the “x” to remove it.
